Why Become a Volunteer?

As a matchday volunteer, you're behind the scenes at an SSL match: meeting the crowd, working in a team, and seeing the game from the inside. No previous experience is required – we'll guide you through everything before your first shift. You choose which matches you can work, and a shift usually lasts around four hours including setup and teardown. The role is unpaid, but volunteers who work a certain number of matches during the season receive a Swedish Championship final ticket if IBF Falun qualifies, along with an end-of-season dinner with the volunteer crew.

Match day roles

Entrance & Tickets

Welcome the crowd, scan tickets, and guide visitors around the arena.

Concessions & Catering

Sales at the kiosk and café before the game, during intermissions, and after the final whistle.

Match Secretariat

Match reporting, timekeeping, and live scores alongside the referees.

Matchday Host

Safety and service in the stands throughout the game.

Raffles & Sales

Sell 50/50 raffle tickets and merchandise in the arena.

Setup & Teardown

Setting up rink boards, signage, and the arena before matches, as well as dismantling afterwards.

Restaurant

Serve our guests on the Terrace and in the Lounge.

Match Reporter

Write match reports and articles for the website and social media.

Content creator

Your creativity is the only limit – help create video content before, during, and after matches.

Security

Help create a safe arena environment – manage entrances, crowd flow, and security on matchday.
